V-E Announces New Watch Line: Expedition North Pole-1
This week Vostok-Europe announced a new watch line dedicated to the famous Expedition North Pole-1 (Ceверный полюс-1)- the first Soviet manned drifting station used for scientific hydrological and geographical research of the polar region some 75 years ago. The new watch line is designed and constructed for extreme conditions of polar expeditions. The much-anticipated new Vostok-Europe Lunokhod-2 is expected to hit North America in about two weeks, according to premier North American distributor Russia2all. Those eager for the new watch have been pre-ordering. List price is $1139. Russia2all has set the pre-order price at $819 or $849 depending on the model. The watch uses a Swiss-made TM36.03VE multifunctional Soprod movement designed exclusively for Vostok-Europe.

Vostok-Europe at Oiso Festival in Japan
Vostok Europe made a splash at a recent charity event in Japan: the Audio Hacienda Oiso Festival which took place at Oiso Long Beach, Japan. Wrist bands with the VE logo were distributed and worn by around 10 000 young people that attended at this charity festival. A limited edition of 51 watches was produced by VE especially for this event. The event was organized by VE’s distributor in Japan (Andoros Co.) and popular Hacienda Radio Station from Tokyo.
