Denissov Coalition in Black

Introduced to the Russian watch market in 2005, the Coalition by Denissov is a limited-edition, commemorative piece that was designed to mark the 60th anniversary of Soviet Victory over Nazi Germany in World War 2. The Coalition features a military-style leather band paired up with a retro-looking case to emphasize its historical inspiration.
The Coalition model featured on the left boasts genuine leather straps in black with white top-stitching details, a retro case, and two stainless steel metal plates engraved with the years “1945″ and “2005″. The dial features an outline of the map of the Soviet Union to commemorate its victory over Fascist Germany.
The Coalition’s case is made of special hypoallergenic stainless steel. The watch features 23 Ruby stones and its face outer glass is made of Sapphire Glass. The band is made of genuine calf-leather and comes in three colors: black, brown, and white. The Coalition line also features a tri-color gift set series.
The design of the back side of the Denissov coalition is also worth mentioning, as it features double back covers. The first layer features key political figures in World War 2 including: Roosevelt, Stalin, De-Gaulle, and Churchill. The inner part consists primarily of glass and uses the Russian Poljot 3133 movement.
Denissov’s Coalition line features outlines of the four countries that were responsible for the victory over Nazi Germany: the Soviet Union, Great Britain, the United States, and France. Separate watches are designed for each of these countries, as shown on the images below.

The Denissov Coalition line also carries limited-edition gift sets; one featuring the tri-color series. The Coalition tri-color series features watches with black, white, blue, and red leather straps.
With only 500 pieces of the Coalition distributed worldwide, the beautiful commemorative timepiece is truly a gem in Denissov’s collection.
Looking at the Coalition, it is clear just how much effort Denissov put into the design of this watch. Featuring two sub-dials and metal dial, the watch is not only superior in terms of aesthetics but also in terms of functionality.
The Coalition retails for $950 but there are some online sources that offer this limited-edition watch for $850.
